ABOUT
 
The Star Lake City block is the culmination of a few of my favorite traditional blocks and is named, as a play on words, after my home city and the street grid for which it is synonymous.
This full quilt version of the block pattern is an expansion of a collaboration with my fellow AGF “Sewcialites”, in which we challenged ourselves to find inspiration in traditional blocks and to recreate them with a modern twist while designing them to be created in their inverse form, as well.
This pattern was created to help meld beginner piecing techniques with modern style so that whether this is your very first quilt or your thousandth, you’re left with a beautiful and functional object for your home.
